Effective July 1, 2009, the Oklahoma Child Support Guidelines law has been amended, see Title 43 Sections 118 through 118I of the Oklahoma statutes. The new state law complies with new federal law for establishment of meaningful medical support orders for minor children in child support orders, see 42 U.S.C. Section 652(f); 666(a)(19)(A) and 45 C.F.R. Sections 302.56; 303.31; 303.32.
The child support computation form is the legal document used to calculate the child support obligation for a noncustodial parent (obligor) due on or after July 1, 2009, as required pursuant to Section 120 of Title 43 of the Oklahoma statutes. The form must be signed by the judge and attached as an exhibit to orders which establish or modify a child support obligation.
