Oklahoma Governor and Legislature
The Oklahoma State Legislature meets every year, beginning at noon on the first Monday in February.
The Legislature's regular session lasts approximately 80 days.
The Governor serves as Head of State and Chief Executive for the State of Oklahoma, overseeing 10 elected executive branch officials as well as the House of Representatives which has 101 members and the Senate which seats 48 members.
