ADvantage Program Rate Increase July 1, 2013
Please be advised of the following changes; the Oklahoma Legislature, through Senate Bill 1120 (SB 1120), appropriated $8 million state ( $21 million state/federal combined) to the Oklahoma Department of Human Services (OKDHS) for an increase in reimbursement rates for home and community-based services administered by both Developmental Disabilities Services and Aging Services. This rate increase applies to services that are delivered by direct care professionals such as Habilitation Training Specialists (HTSs) and Personal Care Attendants (PCAs). It is the intent of the Oklahoma Legislature that at minimum, 70% of the rate increase shall be provided to direct care staff and OKDHS will be responsible for measuring compliance.
This rate increase will be effective July 1, 2013. The AAU has administratively made the appropriate changes to all of the affected service lines. At this time there is no action required by the Case Manager or the agencies providing these lines of service to our Members. The rate table below reflects the changes applied to all applicable service lines;
|ADvantage Personal Care
|In Home Respite
|State Plan Personal Care
All Assisted Living lines of service have also been updated to reflect the appropriate increase to each tier level.
AAU has been working closely with our partner, First Data/AuthentiCare to prepare for the upcoming rate conversion. Preliminary quality assurance testing was conducted and we anticipate this will be a seamless transition.
