What Is It About?
The focus of this meeting is to continue open dialogue with local providers as well as to provide training on common issues ADvantage Provider agencies face related to Clinical Review Process, Service Plan Authorizations, and State Plan Personal Care Unit Process.
Who Should Attend?
Agency Directors, Case Managers, Case Management Supervisors, Trainers, Home Care Providers, Home Care Nurses, and those responsible for continuous quality improvement.
Why Should I Attend?
This conversational training will identify the roles of the Case Manager and Home Care services provider, and address Member transfers, authorized unit authorization, coordination strategies, and how to gain timely authorizations. Additionally, information will be provided regarding what Case Managers can do to assist all service providers with avoiding prior authorization errors. Information and discussion will be provided regarding the changes of State Plan Personal Care into a centralized services unit.
