What Is It About?
The focus of this meeting is to continue open dialogue with local providers as well as to provide training on common issues Case Managers face related to Service Plan authorization, Clinical Review processes, and Member transfer process. This training will also include the OKDHS Aging Services Division’s Quality Assurance Audit team covering common deficiencies found during auditing the ADvantage Case Management and ADvantage Home Care Agencies. These meetings will allow ample time for discussion of topics.
Who Should Attend?
Agency Directors, Case Managers, Case Management supervisors, Trainers, Home Care Providers, and those responsible for Quality Assurance and Corrective Action plans are especially encouraged to attend.
Why Should I Attend?
The information provided will assist with identifying what information must be included in the goals, preventing unnecessary conditions, help clarify what is required for new forms, and provide guidance in billing for Case Management units. Information will also be provided on best practices and how to avoid receiving deficiencies during an OKDHS / ASD Quality Assurance audit of your agency.
