Fall Prevention Resources
In 2014, the Healthy Aging: Living Longer Better Collaborative was created as part of a joint effort among multiple state agencies and organizations to improve the health and life of Oklahoma's older adults. The Collaborative stems from Oklahoma's 2014 Governor's Healthy Aging Summit. The Summit had a central purpose of aligning agency efforts with a broad network of partners to extend collaborative efforts to identify strategies to address the following four focus areas: prevent falls, increase physical activity, reduce depression, and improve nutrition among older adults.
The Collaborative identified the need to develop a central repository of information for older adults, caregivers, families, and professionals. Get started below.
