The Adoption Resource Library is a lending library for adoptive parents. The library includes resources such as books, pamphlets and videos regarding adoption related issues. Post-Legal Adoption Services Help Line
The Help Line is for those families who experience challenges after post-finalization and don't know who to call for information or for help. OKDHS is committed to helping sustain families created by adoption. The goal is to provide parents with information or to connect them to services before they reach a crisis level. Oklahoma Respite Resource Network
Adoptive parents who have adopted a child through OKDHS can be eligible to receive respite care vouchers to assist with paying for child care. Respite is the temporary short-term relief for families and caregivers who need a break from the responsibilities of caring for a child with special needs. Households with income under $45,000 per year will be eligible to receive vouchers of $400.00 per year per household. Households with income over $45,000 but less than $60,000 per year will be eligible to receive vouchers of $300.00 per year per household.
