Service Information

People who are eligible for Medicare Part A and/or Part B may also qualify to have Medicaid pay their Medicare premiums, co-payments and deductibles as a Qualified Medicare Beneficiary (QMB), a Qualified Disabled and Working Individual (QDWI) or a Specified Low Income Medicare Beneficiary (SLMB).

People who have an income that is too high to be eligible for Medicaid may still be eligible to have their Medicare premiums paid as Qualifying Individuals (QI-1).

When Social Security Administration (SSA) is informed by OKDHS that you are eligible for these programs, they will automatically enroll you for assistance with your Medicare Part D Premium.
