Dear DDSD Waiver Family Counseling Provider:

RE: Rate increase

Effective March 1, 2006, the rate for DDSD Family Counseling Group Services is increased to $5.53 per 15-minute unit. New service authorizations (“PB” numbers) will not be issued for DDSD waiver services for procedure code 90853 U1.  Please update your billing process to reflect the rate increase for services provided on or after March 1, 2006.  Any billings submitted for services at the previous rate on or after the effective date of the increase will be paid at the lower rate.
