Dear Occupational Services Provider:

Re: Rate increase

Effective January 1, 2006, the rate for Occupational Therapy Services will be increased to $20.00 per quarter hour. New service authorizations (“PB” numbers) will not be issued for DDSD waiver services for procedure code G0152.  Please update your billing process to reflect the rate increase for services provided on or after January 1, 2006.  Any billings submitted for services at the previous rate on or after the effective date of the increase will be paid at the lower rate.

For state funded Occupational Therapy Services (procedure code G0152), new service authorizations (“MC” numbers) will be issued at the new rate for services. Providers will be sent the new authorizations as soon as they are issued.
