Dear Employment Services Provider:

RE: Rate increase

Effective November 1, 2006, the rate for Individual Placement in Job Coaching services (waiver procedure code T2019 U4) will be increased to $4.00 per 15-minute ($16.00 per hour) and the rate for Individual Placement in Community-based Vocational services (waiver procedure code T2015 U4) will be increased to $14.52 per hour.  New service authorizations (“PB” numbers) will not be issued for DDSD waiver services for these procedure codes.  Please update your billing process to reflect the rate increase for services provided on or after November 1, 2006.  Any billings submitted for services at the previous rate on or after the effective date of the increase will be paid at the lower rate.

New “MC” authorizations will be issued for Non-Federal Medical (NFM) authorizations for therapeutic leave for Individual Placement in Community-based Vocational Services (procedure code T2015 U4 SE) and for those individuals who are not waiver eligible who are receiving Individual Placement in Job Coaching (T2019 U4 SE).   The new authorizations for NFM will be issued prior to November 15, 2006.   Please contact your local area office if you have not received the new authorizations by that date.
