Dear Daily Living Supports and Intensive Personal Supports Provider:

RE: Rate increase

Effective August 16, 2006, the rate of DLS and DLS Therapeutic Leave will be increased to $139.91 per day and the rate for Intensive Personal Supports (IPS) will be increased to $3.63 per quarter hour ($14.52 per hour). New service authorizations (“PB” numbers) will not be issued for DDSD waiver services for procedure codes T2033, T2033 TV, and T2017 TF.  Please update your billing processes to reflect the rate increases for services provided on or after August 16, 2006.  Any billings submitted for services at the previous rates on or after the effective date of the increase will be paid at the lower rates.

For state funded DLS or IPS services (procedure codes T2033 and T2017 TF SE), new service authorizations (“MC” numbers) will be issued at the new rate for services.   Providers will be sent the new authorizations as soon as they are issued.
