Tim Knapp

Tim Knapp is the director of Career Training and Education at The Bowery Mission of New York City. He works full time providing career and job development and training, along with a multitude of other valuable services for the people of The Bowery Mission. Tim is a born and raised Oklahoman and he and his wife own the vacation cottage retreat, Rivers Edge Cottages, in McCurtain County, so he spends time both in NYC and in Oklahoma. Tim’s role at the Bowery Mission is to help the men in the residential recovery program develop the skills necessary to re-enter the workplace. By giving them the basic skills needed for life, relationships, and work, the program enables them to move back toward meaningful lives. They receive vocational training, certification, spiritual stability, and most of all, hope.
