Lisa Conradi, Psy.D. is a Clinical Psychologist at the Chadwick Center for Children and Families at Rady Children’s Hospital, San Diego. Currently, she is serving as the Project Manager for the “Chadwick Trauma-Informed Systems Project” (CTISP), funded by SAMHSA as part of the National Child Traumatic Stress Network (NCTSN). CTISP is focused on helping child welfare systems become more trauma-informed in their daily practice. In this role, she has authored and co-authored a variety of publications on creating trauma-informed systems and presented nationally on innovative practices designed to improve the service delivery system for children who have experienced trauma.
She is also working with the National Center for Child Traumatic Stress at the University of California, Los Angeles, as Program Manager for the current Breakthrough Series Collaborative on “Using Trauma-Informed Child Welfare Practice to Improve Placement Stability.”
She has received training from the developers on Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and Child-Parent Psychotherapy (CPP). Dr. Conradi received her undergraduate degree in Psychology from the University of California, Davis and her graduate degree in Clinical Psychology from the California School of Professional Psychology in San Diego, California. She is on the editorial boards for the “Journal of Aggression, Maltreatment and Trauma” and the “Journal of Child and Adolescent Trauma” and recently served as an editor for the recently published book, “Female Offenders of Intimate Partner Violence".
