The Practice and Policy Lecture Series has been developed to provide thought-provoking presentations on Oklahoma's emerging policy issues, trends and best practices. The series is sponsored by the Oklahoma Department of Human Services Office of Planning, Research and Statistics and the University of Oklahoma Center for Public Management with the goal of providing the best educational opportunities available in a forum that offers participants an opportunity to question, share and learn from each other.

All lectures are free and open to the public.

Oklahoma Women's Coalition
 
Dr. Jean S. Warner co-founded The Oklahoma Women’s Coalition, a statewide nonprofit organization in 2008 to advocate on behalf of Oklahoma women and girls. She served as its first chair and now serves on the board and chairs the leadership development committee. Warner has a doctorate from the University of Oklahoma in Political Science. She co-founded and ran Oklahoma’s National Education for Women’s Leadership program. She was named by The Journal Record as one of Fifty Women Making a Difference in Oklahoma in 2010.
