4-8 Litigation Files: The Attorney General is the Attorney of Record   (Confidential Record 12 O.S. 1981, §2502)
Description: File contains correspondence, pleadings, depositions, exhibits, court documents, and other materials used in litigation where OKDHS is a party except those involving allegations of fraud in the food stamp and Temporary Assistance to Needy Families (TANF) programs, third party recovery, and overpayment cases. 
Volume: two (2) cubic feet per year
Disposition: Retain in office until the case is closed, then transfer to records storage. Destroy two (2) years after the exhaustion of all legal remedies, provided records meet all stipulated retention requirements, and approval to destroy records has been received from the State Records Administrator.
