6-2 Tribal/State Agreements  
Description: Files consist of annual Tribal/State Agreements between the Oklahoma Department of Human Services and Oklahoma Indian Tribes. The Tribal/State Agreement outlines the contractual arrangement for foster care and related services of Indian children in both OKDHS and tribal custody.
Volume: less than 1 cubic feet per year
Disposition: Retain in office three (3) years then transfer to records storage. Retain in records storage records they become five (5) years old, then destroy provided all audits have been completed and all applicable audit reports have been accepted and resolved by all applicable federal and state agencies and no legal actions are pending and  approval to destroy documents has been received from the State Records Administrator. If legal action is pending, destroy two (2) years after exhaustion of all legal remedies, provided records meet all stipulated retention requirements, and approval to destroy records has been received from the State Records Administrator.
