Description:
Files consist of hard copies, including fax transmissions of outgoing and incoming correspondence, memos and reports of the Office of Client Advocacy administrator (the Advocate General) and other persons acting in the role of administration (including programs managers and programs administrators).
Volume:
six (6) cubic feet per year
Disposition:
Retain in office and review on an annual basis. Destroy duplicate and ancillary materials when no longer required for administrative purposes. Destroy substantive materials when they become five (5) years old provided they are no longer required for administrative purposes and no legal actions are pending. If legal action is pending, destroy two (2) years after exhaustion of all legal remedies, provided records meet all stipulated retention requirements.
