Personal Care Services
10-1 Personal Care Program Development Files  
Description: Files contain information documenting the creation and operation of In-Home Personal Care services (formerly known as the Non-Technical Medical Care Program). Includes but is not limited to program training materials, policy development documentation, and appropriations requests.
Volume: three (3) cubic feet per year
Disposition: Retain records in office one (1) year, then transfer to records storage. Retain records in storage until they become five (5) years old, then destroy provided: (a) all audits have been completed and all applicable audit reports have been accepted and resolved by all applicable federal and state agencies; (b) no legal actions are pending and (c) permission to destroy records has been received from the State Records Administrator. If legal action is pending, destroy two (2) years after exhaustion of all legal remedies, provided records meet all stipulated retention requirements and permission to destroy records has been received from the State Records Administrator.
