340:100-3-25. Advisory Committee on Services to Persons with Developmental Disabilities

The Advisory Committee on Services to Persons with Developmental Disabilities to the Commission for Human Services reviews all policies of the Developmental Disabilities Services Division and makes recommendations to the Commission and the Director of Human Services.
  • (1) The statutory authority of the Advisory Committee is Section 1412 of Title 10 of the Oklahoma Statutes.
  • (2) Advisory Committee members are volunteers.
  • (3) The Director of DHS determines the size and constituency groups to be directly represented through Advisory Committee membership within parameters established by Section 1412 of Title 10 of the Oklahoma Statutes.
  • (4) The Advisory Committee is governed by bylaws approved by the Commission for Human Services and statutory requirements inclusive of the Open Meetings Act.
  • (5) The Advisory Committee meets on at least a quarterly basis.
  • (6) The Advisory Committee submits a report of activities, on at least an annual basis, to the DHS Commission for Human Services.
