(a) The Department imposes upon its vendors and subcontractors methods of compliance with Title VI, Title VII, ADA and Section 504 comparable to these methods of administration. Vendors and subcontractors are informed that their compliance with Title VI, Title VII, ADA and Section 504 is a condition of their initial or continued participation in any part of the programs in which they may be involved. In each written authorization of the Department for the purchase of services, a requirement is included that the services are rendered without regard to race, color, religion, sex, disability or national origin.
(b) The Department incorporates in its requirements for vendors, as a condition of their approval, written assurance that every reasonable effort is made to comply with this section.
(c) The Department obtains from each vendor and subcontractor a written assurance that it will comply with Title VI, Title VII, ADA and Section 504. Periodically the Department reviews its vendors and subcontractors to determine that the requirements of the Department are being fulfilled and that practices being utilized conform to Title VI, Title VII, ADA and Section 504. A complete report of the entire review is prepared and made a part of the Department's files for review by the Regional DHHS-OCR.
