OKDHS:10-1-31. Parolees
|
Issued 4-1-98

Under Section 212(d) (5) of the Immigration and Nationality Act, individuals can be paroled into the United States for an indefinite or temporary period at the discretion of the United States Attorney General. Individuals admitted as Parolees are considered to meet the "citizenship and alienage" requirement. Individuals in this category should have Form 1-94, Arrival Departure Record (Parole Edition), which identifies by stamped information that the alien has been paroled pursuant to Section 212(d) (5) of the Immigration and Nationality Act (see Section II of DHS Appendix J). The recording of this verification in the case record must include a statement that the form which was issued to the individual identifies the individual as a parolee on Form 1-94.
