(a) Office of Personnel Management (OPM) administers the State of Oklahoma mentor program and establishes the nomination procedure, distributes the nomination forms, and determines the application period.  

(b) OPM selects a mentor selection advisory committee to select the mentor executives.  [74 O.S. § 840-3.8]

(c) Upon notification of the application period for the state mentor program, the division administrator, Human Resources Management Division (HRMD), through Employee Relations and Development Unit (ERDU), shall notify DHS employees of the application period and the procedure for making nominations.

(d) Any state employee may nominate another state employee for participation in the state mentor program.  [Merit Rule 530:10-17-150 - 156]

(e) Nominations for the state mentor program are submitted directly to OPM.  A copy of the nomination shall be submitted to the division administrator, HRMD, for review and oversight by ERDU.
