The OKDHS Aging Services Division announced Karen Danley, RN, is the new area nurse for Area III. As area nurse, she will have long term care programs leadership responsibilities in the Oklahoma County 55B, 55C and 55H Human Services Centers and supervise a staff of seven nurses. 

Danley began her career in the Oklahoma County 55B Human Services Center in 2004 as a health care management nurse. She worked in the Canadian County HSC in 2006 and transferred to the Oklahoma County 55G HSC in 2007. Danley is experienced in case management, home health, employee health and long term care. 

She is a graduate of Seward County (Kan.) Community College. 

Danley has been married to Gerry Danley for 25 years and has three daughters, Shayla, 27, Anna, 23 and Hollie, 21.  She is the proud grandmother of three grandchildren, Aspen, 3, Becca, 21 months and Christian, 6 months.
