Taylor Selected for Rogers County Post
Beverly Taylor is the new administrative assistant in Rogers County.
Taylor has more than 14 years of clerical and customer service experience as well as seven years of experience in providing social services to consumers in the Rogers County area.
She began her career with Rogers County in 2006 as an administrative technician III where she gained knowledge as an Electronic Benefits Transfer specialist and back up to reception, switchboard and child welfare. Taylor became the clerical supervisor, administrative technician IV in August 2008 and recently participated as a member of the EBT focus group.
She is currently enrolled in Tulsa Community College and is working toward her bachelor’s degree in business administration.
She is married to Anthony Taylor and they have four children: Tyler, 13, Hayley, 10, Mary, 9 and Hope, 8. They are active members of the Blue Starr Church of Christ in Claremore. The family provides assistance to members of the Blue Starr Mothers of Mounds, the American Legion Post 36 and they volunteer for the Stand Down held by the American Legion in October benefitting homeless veterans.
Davidson is New Family Support Supervisor
The new Family Support supervisor in Sequoyah County is Nanette Davidson. She will start her position on July 6, 2009.
Davidson began her career with Sequoyah County in 2000 as an Adult Protective Services specialist I. Shortly thereafter, she became a social services specialist II in the Family Support Services Division, where she worked in Food Stamps (now known as the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program), SoonerCare and Child Care. In 2003, she transferred to Leflore County. During her years there, she worked a variety of caseloads consisting of SNAP, SoonerCare and Child Care, Aid to the Aged, Blind and Disabled, just to name a few.
Davidson graduated from Oklahoma State University with a bachelor’s degree in family relations and child development in 1998.
She is an avid football fan and enjoys cheering for the OSU Cowboys. Davidson has been married to Joe Davidson for almost nine years. They have two children, Jacob and Joshua.
