The staff at the Stephens County Human Services Center welcomed Major Scott Haskins from his recent deployment to Kuwait. Haskins is a child welfare specialist III in Stephens County. He was assigned to the 45th Fires BDE in Kuwait for 10 months. This was Haskins second deployment, as he spent 17 months in Afghanistan.

On Aug. 31, the staff lined the drive with flags and signs to welcome Haskins back on his first day at the office.  In true OKDHS tradition, the staff provided the food, all in red, white, and blue.

"We just wanted to show him that we really appreciate his sacrifices for us, and we were so happy to have him back safely," said Victria Lynch, Stephens County director.
