With October being National Breast Cancer Awareness month, Bryan County Department of Human Services wanted to honor the month by wearing pink and holding a contest. The contest was held to determine which girl and guy wore the best pink outfit.  Ron Bennett won for the guys, which was not too hard since he was the only guy who wore pink, and Brenda Salas won for the best pink outfit for the girl in the office.  Each employee received a mint and Breast Cancer Awareness sticker to wear for the day.  Many people are affected by breast cancer every day, and the Bryan County Department of Human Services wanted to devote 1 day to show support to all the survivors and those still fighting the battle.
