Welcome to the new, online home of Inside OKDHS. With any move, there’s definitely hard work to be done, but after you’ve packed your belongings and painstakingly loaded them into the moving van, you’re successfully on the road to your destination. Unpacking and making yourself at home is usually a more time-involved process.
Now that we’ve unloaded the van, we’ll get settled in our new home and make the most of it. Using the convenience that technology has to offer, publishing will now occur on a weekly basis. The information will be timely and we’ll have the added flexibility of publishing news and events as they happen.
A project involving this much change is never easy and certainly never pain-free. But as we start hanging pictures and arranging the furniture, you can expect to see some new features in addition to the features you’ve come to expect from Inside OKDHS. Don’t worry, you’ll still find columns from the volunteer chaplains, Communications Director George Johnson’s Best Foot Forward column, the pictorial feature Best Foot Forward, feature stories, news briefs, promotions and retirements.
Remember that both the older version of the InfoNet and the newer version of the InfoNet will link directly into the stories at Inside OKDHS. This is another convenient way you can access the content.
The best part of the transition to the online home is that we’re becoming greener by saving paper and we’re becoming more fiscally responsible by saving money on paper and postage costs, something that’s very important in these trying financial times. Best of all, we’re sharing not only with our coworkers, but we’re sharing with the public the incredible stories about the work we do every day.

Thanks for your support and we hope you enjoy the new Inside OKDHS!
