(All links open in new windows)

OKLAHOMA CAPITOL -- Current economic challenges mean a greater need for faith-based and community non-profits to strategically focus on their funding streams and build relationships with like-minded funders.  That is the focus of the Artful Askers Workshop, to be held Friday, Mar. 9 in Lawton at the Lawton Housing Authority, 609 Southwest F Street beginning at 8:30 a.m.

This regional workshop will be facilitated by Bob Vickers, who will provide the tools to reach potential donors, access resources and meet community needs. The presentation also includes technical assistance for capacity building and fund development.

Registration is $75.00 (no charge for alumnus) and is sponsored by local community leaders, Lawton Housing Authority, and the Oklahoma Office of Faith-Based and Community Initiatives (www.faithlinksok.org).  Pre-registration is preferred.  For additional information and to register visit www.ArtfulAskers.com
