OKLAHOMA CAPITOL--- The statewide FaithLinks Fatherhood Forum will be held on Tuesday, Aug. 4, 2009 from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the Will Rogers Theater, 4322 N. Western Ave., in Oklahoma City. Registration opens at 9 a.m. The forum is for faith based and community organizations and is hosted by the Office of Faith Based and Community Initiatives.

The agenda will include networking with other fatherhood resources and program providers and presentations that include: a report on Oklahoma families; maintaining good communication with the gatekeeper (custodial mother); recruiting and engaging men in fatherhood programs; and fatherhood initiatives to specific populations.

Presenters will include Howard Hendrick, Director of the Oklahoma Department of Human Services and Scott Roby, Bob Davis and Roger Smith from the Oklahoma Marriage Initiative.
