State Capitol --- We are very surprised by today’s ruling. The Department’s staff believes the actions it took in seeking this contract were in the best interest of the clients we are charged with serving.

The contract went through every possible review process over a nine-month period with input from many sources, including the Oklahoma Public Employees Association. It was scrutinized from every imaginable angle.

The Department fully intends to appeal the decision that was issued.

For now, we will continue to operate the contract in accordance with the terms set forth by the Oklahoma Department of Central Services, which is the state’s official contracting authority.
