Rob Eden Named Area VI Administrative Field Liaison

OKLAHOMA CAPITOL -- Rob Eden, a 21-year veteran of the Oklahoma Department of Human Services, has been named Administrative Field Liaison for OKDHS Area VI, which includes Osage, Washington, Creek and Tulsa counties.

Eden will be responsible for coordinating all quality assurance activities in the area and will provide program oversight for Adult Protective Services. He will also act as liaison to Licensing, Long Term Care and Developmental Disabilities, as well as perform duties dealing with program integrity, customer service and administrative operations.

"I’m very happy that Rob will be joining the Area VI team," said Stephen Scott, OKDHS Area VI Director. "Rob brings years of experience, compassion and leadership to this position."

Eden began his career with OKDHS as a Social Worker in Woods County. He later served as County Director in Major, Woods and Washington Counties.

"I’m really looking forward to the new opportunities that await me," said Eden. "This position will require adjustment, but I am looking forward to a new focus and I’m anxious for the new opportunity. I have truly enjoyed my years in the county offices and I will miss the day-to-day interaction with the clients."

Eden graduated from Freedom High School and earned a bachelor’s in Social Work from Northwestern Oklahoma State University in Alva.

Eden is a member of the Washington County Red Cross Board, the Bartlesville Transportation Committee and serves as the Vice Chair for the Oklahoma Homeless Network.

Eden’s wife, Anita, works as a Client Advocate for OKDHS. They have two children, a son, Reagan, 23, and a daughter, Natalie, 15.
