Do I have to use the Oklahoma Debit MasterCard?
No. If you have a bank account, you can receive your money by direct deposit. Direct deposit is the no-fee* alternative to the Oklahoma Debit MasterCard. To get your money deposited directly to your bank account, call customer service at 1-888-401-9843.
What if I continue using the Oklahoma Debit MasterCard? Can I get my money without paying fees?
OKDHS worked with its vendor, ACS, to develop the following tips for using the Oklahoma Debit MasterCard fee-free.
- Visit an in-network ATM or an in-network bank with teller access no more than twice a month. For a list of free Bank of Oklahoma ATM locations, visit www.EPPICard.com.
- Check account transactions and balance free of charge online at http://www.eppicard.com
- When making a purchase with your Oklahoma Debit MasterCard, add an additional amount of “cash” to your purchase. This way, you are making a purchase and withdrawing additional money at the same time.
- If possible, call the customer service line no more than once a week. Only the first five calls each month to ACS are free.
*No-fee means neither OKDHS nor ACS charges for the use of direct deposit. Your bank may still charge fees associated with the use of your account.
