Each fiscal year, DHS compiles a statistical analysis of Department expenditures and program usage for the DHS Annual Report.
The Child Abuse and Neglect Statistics Reports reflect data on reported child abuse and neglect, investigations or assessments conducted and investigation confirmations. Investigations are conducted when the report contains allegations of serious threats to the alleged child victim’s safety. Assessments are conducted when the allegation of abuse or neglect does not constitute a serious or immediate threat to a child’s health or safety.
DHS divisions and offices also compile statistical information about programs and services they provide to the public.
DHS Program Participation Reports are updated monthly with statistical information on programs and services that are offered by the Department. The statistics provide you with a five-year overview by fiscal year and month.
