The Office of Policy and Research (OPR) manages Oklahoma Child Support Services program policy and legislation. OPR works with OCSS stakeholders to identify policy and legislative issues, researches and drafts changes in policies and legislation, provides policy consultation and maintains master records such as the Oklahoma IV-D (Social Security Act, Title IV, Part D) State Plan. OPR monitors and analyzes child support policy changes at the federal and state levels and judicial decisions to determine their potential effect on child support state laws and policy. OPR manages OCSS official numbered Oklahoma Department of Human Services forms and the Glossary of Child Support Terms. OPR's goal is developing policy and legislation that is understandable and legally sound.
