Unit Information

The Quality Rating Improvement System (QRIS) Unit is managed by  Oklahoma Child Care Services. 

The Quality Rating and Improvement System (QRIS) unit oversees the Reaching for the Stars program. The Reaching for the Stars program provides a system to inform parents of quality criteria met by child care programs, improve the quality of child care by increasing the competence of teachers and raise the Department's subsidy reimbursement rate.
