Oklahoma is the only state that has established by state statute an Office of Elder Rights to support the State Legal Services Developer, a position required under the Older Americans Act. 

The mission of this OKDHS Aging Services Division (ASD) 

unit is to improve the quality and quantity of legal and advocacy services available to Oklahoma's vulnerable elderly.
