Office of Inspector General: Administrative Review Unit
Unit Information
The Administrative Review Unit (ARU) examines OKDHS Food Stamps and Medicaid programs for rates of payment error and corrective action information.
The unit employs social services inspectors. They investigate sample cases. Other employees include quality control program supervisors and support staff.
As a part of its annual quality control program, the unit samples and processes nearly 2,100 active and 1,300 closed or denied Food Stamps and Medicaid cases.
In addition, the staff works on other error reduction activities and projects.
