logo for the OKDHS Office of General Counsel In this area, OKDHS Legal Division's involvement is in Adult Protective Services (APS) emergency guardianships for mentally and physically incapacitated adults who are being abused, or neglected, or self-neglecting, or financially exploited. This area also provides representation and advice to OKDHS Developmental Disabilities Services Division (DDSD), Office of Public Guardian, in Abuse Registry cases,  State Long Term Care Ombudsman, OKDHS Office of Client Advocacy, APS and OKDHS Aging Services Division.
