Robert joined the Oklahoma Department of Human Services (OKDHS) in 1998. He began his career with OKDHS as a Carl Albert Fellow in the position of management analyst.
After completing the 2-year executive fellowship, he became a permanent employee for OKDHS. For the past 9 years, he has focused on research and data analysis as needed. He has developed, administered, analyzed and written up the results of surveys to assess programs, provide research support and identify needed direction changes for program areas of the agency.
Additionally, he has provided the sampling plan information to allow the Office of the Inspector General to keep programs within compliance with federal regulations. Bentley has also served as a consultant to outside agencies for program evaluation, data collection and analysis.
Bentley earned his bachelor’s in psychology and sociology and master’s in sociology from the University of Oklahoma.
