What is MOSAIC?
MOSAIC is the name of an enterprise project for OKDHS that began in 2007. It will apply new technology and streamlined business processes that will provide better reporting tools, data sharing across program areas, and enhanced decision-making, which will allow OKDHS to provide improved services.
Why do we need MOSAIC?
The MOSAIC project will improve the work of OKDHS staff as existing automated systems are replaced with innovative Web-based applications that are easier to use and maintain. This will reduce current duplicated efforts and be a better management tool, supporting all program areas using the new enterprise system.
What will an enterprise system offer?
An enterprise system will offer a high quality of service and deal with large volumes of data capable of supporting OKDHS. This will provide OKDHS with a technology platform that will integrate and coordinate business processes, providing a single system and ensuring information can be shared across all levels.
What does EPMO mean?
Enterprise Program Management Office (EPMO) is managing the MOSAIC project. This office provides businesses process engineering and project management for business projects.
Who will be affected by this project?
MOSAIC is a long-term enterprise project that will have a positive impact on OKDHS technology and business. Children and Family Services Division, Family Support Services Division and Oklahoma Child Support Services are the initial program areas to be converted. This project may eventually integrate business processes and technology for all program areas.
