The Oklahoma Department of Human Services (OKDHS) Enterprise Architecture Methodology is based on the Zachman Framework (Link opens in a new window). A methodology is a set of processes and documents one follows to document and use the framework.
The OKDHS methdology contains three modules.
-
Documenting the "As-Is" architecture - The "as-is" state is the current state of the business. This process will document from five to thirty cells of the Zachman Framework (Link opens in a new window), depending on the level of information needed for the effort that is being undertaken.
-
-
Performing the gap analysis - Once the "as-is" state and the "to-be" states are documented, the project team will identify the gaps and develop a road map or implementation plan to reach the desired future state.
