Logston earned her bachelor degree in Business Administration from the University of Central Oklahoma, specializing in Computer Science. She began her career as a developer in COBOL for OKDHS, then became a developer, and eventually manager and systems auditor for the Children’s Hospital of Oklahoma.
Upon returning to OKDHS in 1995, she was the lead developer for the Benefits Section, where she was involved in many electronic benefits transfer (EBT) rollouts. In 2001, she was named director of Project Management Office (PMO) where she developed the methodology, templates, training, and procedures that OKDHS currently uses for project management.
In 2006, she was named director of Enterprise Program Management Office (EPMO). She and her staff develop the methodology, templates, training, and procedures that OKDHS uses for enterprise architecture and business process improvement initiatives.
Logston’s hobbies include Scouts, reading, hiking, rappelling, and skiing. She has three children: daughter, Leea, 22; son-in-law, Wes, 23; and son, Cody, 18. She and her husband, Mitch, met in high school and have been married for 26 years. Pick any day of the week, and you will find them with their scouting family.
