1. General Statement of Purpose:

1.1. The purpose of this standard is to list the items that, if procured, provide a satisfactory color digital camera solution for OKDHS staff that are required to take color photographs. 

2. Scope

2.1. This standard includes hardware and supplies for a color digital camera, but does not include installation or setup costs.

2.2. This standard is established to provide guidance for the purchase of the subject item. The product described in this standard was selected because it most closely matched the specifications of similar products based the upon recent purchase history of similar non-standard products.  It will be updated as DSD/Research & Strategy schedules a review of newer technology to satisfy the business requirement.

4. Terms And Definitions:

4.1. Digital Camera - A type of camera that does not use film, but instead stores the images in a digital format in memory on the camera, or on some type of removable digital media. These images can then be downloaded to a computer for further processing or printing.  Most provide immediate preview capability of the images on an attached LCD screen.
