Technology and Governance Unit: Testing Section
Section Information
The Technology and Governance Testing Section provides and coordinates testing required to support the Statewide Automated Child Welfare Information System (SACWIS) (Link opens in new window). The Testing Section coordinates with Data Services (DSD) and Oklahoma University (OU) staff to ensure optimal performance of this system.
This process is necessary to ensure that staff can accurately document case actions and case status, to reflect compliance with the state and federal requirements. The SACWIS system interfaces with other entities in order to assist in quality case management. The Testing Section provides testing to ensure that the interfaces are functioning. When a problem is encountered with the system, this section provides documentation that supports the need for an enhancement. When changes are made to enhance the SACWIS system, the Testing Section is responsible for the release documentation.
