The Therapeutic Foster Care (TFC) Section is a component of the Resource Unit, Children and Family Services Division (CFSD) located in the Oklahoma Department of Human Services (OKDHS) State Office in Oklahoma City. Its goal is to provide contractors, child welfare staff, legislators and the public with the guidance, support, training, contract oversight and expertise needed to ensure accurate interpretation and compliance with TFC program requirements, current OKDHS, TFC policies and guidelines and federal and state law. Section personnel are also available to facilitate and attend meetings outside of the OKDHS State Office to provide consultation on individual issues that may arise.
