Unit Information

The Prevention, Protection, and Post Adoption Services Unit is a program unit within the Children and Family Services Division (CFSD) which is composed of Prevention Services, Child Protective Services (CPS), and Post Adoption Services. 

These program sections develop and implement policy, and procedures  for working with families and children. Policies, procedures and training are developed based on Oklahoma and federal statutory requirements and best practice research obtained from federal and national sources.

The goal of PSTU is to provide program guidelines, support and expertise to equip child welfare staff with the necessary skills to provide quality services for children and families.
