Unit Information
The Permanency, Adoptions and Independent Living Unit manages Adoption, Permanency Planning, Post Adoption, and Independent Living services.
The Adoption Services section is mandated to expedite permanency planning for children and to secure adoptive families for each waiting child with the passage of the Adoption and Safe Families Act of 1997 and changes in Oklahoma Statute.
The Post Adoption Services section provides adoption assistance and other post adoption services to adoptive parents and adoptees.
