Adele Jack was appointed to her current position in October 2008. She is responsible for the Purchasing, Facilities Management, Architecture/Engineering, Property Management, Commodity Distribution, Risk Management, and Departmental Services units.
Ms. Adele Jack comes to OKDHS from the private sector, where she has served as vice-president of Commercial Property Management for Gardner Tanenbaum Group for the past 5 years.
Ms. Jack also has a wealth of state agency experience, having served four years as director of Facilities Services for the Oklahoma Department of Central Services responsible for property management, environmental services, and the State Capitol Park and Governor’s Mansion grounds. The position was responsible for preparation and oversight of 26 budgets totaling $17 million, and 90 FTE.
Ms. Jack has 16 years of experience managing a variety of property management responsibilities in state government. Adele earned a Bachelor of Science from Oklahoma State University in 1973 in Housing and Interior Design. She has 2 adult daughters.
