This commodities program is administered by the OKDHS Commodity Distribution Unit. The unit orders, stores and distributes USDA foods to eligible recipients and administers the USDA School Nutrition programs for the private schools and residential child care institutions in Oklahoma.

• The Emergency Food Assistance Program (TEFAP) - Food Banks.   OKDHS partners with the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma (Link opens in a new window) in Oklahoma City and the Community Food Bank of Eastern Oklahoma (CFBEO)  (Link opens in a new window) in Tulsa to distribute USDA TEFAP products to food pantries/closets, soup kitchens and emergency shelters.
